Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR).

If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will subsequently no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21(2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion and rectification

Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification, blocking or deletion of this data. For this purpose and for further questions on the subject of personal data, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. For this purpose, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was or is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may – apart from its storage – only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

Objection to advertising emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and information material. The operators of the site expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example by spam emails.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies and storage on your device

This website does not set any cookies and does not store any data on your device as long as you only browse it. No consent banner is therefore required. Technically necessary cookies are only set when you log in to the customer portal or training area (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-*); they are required for authentication and are deleted when you log out or when the session ends (Sec. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use cookies for analysis, advertising or tracking, and no third-party cookies are set.

Fonts, videos and all other resources are served from our own server; no connection to external services is established when you visit the site (see section 8).

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose the server log files must be collected.

Enquiries by email, telephone or fax

If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us.

The data you send to us via contact enquiries remains with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or amendment of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our web pages (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.

The customer data collected is deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

4. Contact and demo request forms

When you contact us via the “Request demo” or “Support & Contact” forms, we process the data you enter (e.g. name, company, email address, country, phone number, product interest, message) to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is sent by email to our sales/support team and additionally stored in our website system. We delete requests once they are completed and no statutory retention obligations apply, at the latest after 12 months. To protect against automated input we use an invisible check field and a timing check; no cookies are set and no third-party services are involved.

5. Customer and training area (registration, login, downloads)

Existing customers and training participants can request an account. We process name, company, email address, country, the requested area (customer area / training area) and optionally your customer/licence number and message. Accounts are reviewed and activated manually. After activation you receive a link to set your password. When logging in, WordPress sets technically necessary session cookies (wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wp-settings-*) required for authentication (Sec. 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of contract / customer service). Downloads are not logged. The account is deleted on request or when the customer relationship ends.

6. Remote support

For remote support we use the remote maintenance software Supremo (Nanosystems S.r.l., Italy). A session is only established after you have started the tool yourself and given us the displayed access data by telephone; you can end the session at any time by closing the program. During the session, connection data (IP address, session ID, time) is processed by the provider to establish the connection. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (support contract).

7. Web analytics

We do not use any web analytics or tracking services. No analytics cookies are set and no usage profiles are created. The only usage data available to us is what the server records in its log files anyway (see section 3).

8. Fonts and videos

The fonts (Inter, Manrope) and our own videos used on this website are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or other third parties is established.

On the home page we additionally embed a video from YouTube (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The video is only loaded once you click the preview image; until then no connection to Google is established and nothing is stored on your device. The preview image is served from our own server. After the click, your IP address and information about your device are transmitted to Google, and Google may use cookies or similar technologies. Legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Sec. 25(1) TDDDG); the consent applies to that page view and is not stored. We use the extended data protection mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Information on data processing by Google: policies.google.com/privacy.

9. Hosting

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich GmbH, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The host processes server log files on our behalf (see section 3). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

For all these links the following applies: we expressly emphasise that we have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages. We therefore expressly distance ourselves from all content of linked pages and do not adopt their content as our own. This declaration applies to all links and to the entire content of all pages to which our links lead, directly or indirectly.

Unless otherwise stated, all trademarks are protected by trademark law. This applies in particular to brands, type plates, company logos and emblems.
